Pisa, one of the most famous and beautiful Italian cities, is known worldwide for its magnificent monuments, rich of art and history, mostly located in Piazza del Duomo, well known as Piazza dei Miracoli, a place visited by all the tourists who come to the city. In this square, it is possible to admire the Duomo of Santa Maria Assunta with the leaning Tower, the Battistero, the Galleria that surrounds the Camposanto and the Cappella Del Pozzo, all rigorously made of white Carrara marble. In Pisa there is also the Domus Galileiana, where Galileo Galilei probably lived. Finally, the Piazza dei Cavalieri is worth a visit. It is one of the most important squares of Pisa, surrounded by beautiful buildings as the Palazzo dei Cavalieri, that is the seat of the "Scuola Normale Superiore”, founded by Napoleon in 1810.
